More partying at Princeton

More partying at Princeton, just before our groups trip to Sudan.

The same party...

Welcome to Sudan, in the northern capitol of Khartoum! Just like the Hilton.

This is a different facility ,most likely in Omdurman, an older capitol of the northern Sudan (right next to Khartoum). These were some of our host, who were very nice and are dressed in common garb for northern Sudan. Northern Sudan is mostly Islamic. The Southern part of Sudan was then more "Nilotic Black". Otherwords not Islamic but affected by other influences endemic in Africa at the time in 1983. Juba is the southern most capitol of Sudan. Civil war was brewing between the Islamic North, and the Christian, tribal Southern part of Sudan , but we were unaffected by it.

A superimposed image of one of our host at night. I gave him these soap bubbles to play around with, and I took his picture, there were no kids around.A dumb idea huh? This picture is superimposed over an image of Kieran Phelan, one of our group members resting in a bunk.
