Time's "Man of the Year"

Here's a letter I wrote to Time magazine in response to there announcement of using George Bush as there "Man of the year"

"About your recent paper using George W. Bush as Times's "Man of the
year" It got to be a testament to the whole world on the stupidity of the
American people. I was just watching Michael Moore's ,"Fahrenheit
9-11". I've seen it many times, but this time I was watching it with my
grandmother who had never seen that documentary. As we were watching it she was shocked, I was shocked and embarrassed that this guy won another 4 year term as President of the United States.
I mean if that isn't enough, that most of his cabinet members has quit already and wont be joining us for another 4 years. Need I remind you, Secretary of State; Colin powell, Director of Homeland security; Tom Ridge, Department of Justice secretary; John Ashcroft, Education secretary ; Roderick R. Paige, Secretary of Commerce; Donald L. Evers, Energy Secretary; Spencer Abraham, Secretary of Agriculture ; Ann Venemen.....did I miss anyone? Obviously a glowing endorsement of a Bush administration ( by his own co-workers) in 2005.

Yet, "Time" in its wisdom chooses to nominate George W. Bush as
"Man of the Year", Dear God! You even have a quote from Bush saying
that he "relishes people who dislike him". Hell, I don't dislike Bush,
I might disagree with some of his policies...Speaking of which if he relishes people who dislike him so much, why didn't he invite them to his campaign rallies during the Presidential election of 2005, instead of having them arrested?
Speaking of voting, the Presidential election of 2005 was a farce. It featured alot of electronic voting, most of which I understand wasn't verifiable. There was no way these voters could verify that the people they wanted to elect was the one that was recorded in the election machine. Without anyway to verify these votes, there was no way to know if the votes weren't tampered with!

There might have been better people to select , other than George W.Bush. What about poor old Michael Moore that terrific media Whistle -blower what do we say to him? I don't see why he doesn't move to Canada, or what about John Kerry, didn't he run a good campaign....even Ariel Sharon might have been a better choice. I think by choosing George W. Bush, you only prove that Americans are stupid, that hook, crook and graft wins the day in America. Why don't you just nominate Alfred E. Neuman as Time's "Man of the Year"! By choosing Bush as your man of the year what some famous person once said about Americans...."That there's a sucker born every minute", or has George W. Bush was quoted saying.. "Fool you once... shame on, shame on you. Fool me,... cant get fooled again."
