Hard Times cont

Well, I am a Year later since I've moved a short distance from the Oaks Hotel to Another Hotel. Its alittle quieter here and cleaner. At first I had problems like just getting the heating to work..The janitor even told me the heater doesn't work, I liked the room at first...though very small ( I'd show you a picture but I'd be embarrassed well). The room has two large windows, a uncarpeted floor a sink and two hot plates. A community bathroom and kitchen, the rent is cheap. I kinda like the spartan conditions here, though I get lonesome here.

This hotel is one block from the Police station so I hoped I wouldn't have to worry about "outsiders" making vague threats. Basically I wasn't intending on staying here, My first intention was to find a quiet place so I could continue to work toward getting in on my retirement program at my job, also a place where I could cool out, and yet still be a stone throws away from my mothers house in case she needed me.

Most of the tenants here are Chinese, but that is changing now and I find that I still have similar problems like I did at the Oaks. .. Voices in the room , voices carry..,there's guy upstairs pestering me, it started with suggestions like "You should punk him" (meaning I should go back to the Oaks deal with that guy in 711 who was pestering me also ?)....I would ignore this then it turned into him moving furniture across the floor at around 6,7 Am, although he doesn't work perhaps he feels that I should move, (in hindsight perhaps was right). A nice place this place has been awful for me.....Cont.
