Haart twice as deadly as AIDS?

The Reisler Result: HAART is Twice as Deadly as AIDS
Well, we've been irritating AIDS bloggers, AIDS journalists, AIDS activists and AIDS scientists bunglers for a couple of years now about the Padian Waffle, reminding folks of one certain, inconvenient (for some) truth -- that her study, the longest American epidemiological study of heterosexual transmission of HIV, found (I quote): "No seroconversions" (p. 354.) Raised a lotta hackles too, I might add. :)

And recently we poked some big shots, big time with our unavoidable presentation of the evidence that AZT, not HIV, killed all those hemophiliacs.

I have another paper that I think is equally important. It is clean, simple to understand and forthright. I refer to this paper in JAIDS from 2003 that I christen, "The Reisler Result".

Lemme set it up for you: Our friends on the other side -- affectionately known at the AIDS experts bunglers --- make 3 primary claims:

1. A virus is the sole cause of AIDS

2. This virus is primarily spread thru sex

3. Various "medicines" called HAART safely kill the virus.

Have I fairly, accurately and succinctly described these claims? I believe so.

Now, Padian decimates claim 2. That's why they get all fussy, when I raise it. I also think that Reisler decimates claim 3: Here's the salient data on Reisler:

1. The authors did a 5 year review (1996-2001) of about 3000 HIV/AIDS patients who took HAART (no pun intended). Nothing fancy, let's just see what happened to these folks. Here's what they found.

2. 332 patients suffered an "AIDS" event meaning some manifestation of the underlying disease.

3. However, 675 patients suffered a "Grade 4" "event, meaning a life-threatening illness, attributed to the medicine, not the virus. The most common of these side-effects were

1. Liver damage
2. Neutropenia (white blood cell loss)
3. Anemia (red blood cell loss)
4. Cardiovascular, including heart attacks
5. Pancreatitus
6. Psychiatric
7. Kidney problems
8. Thrombocytopenia
9. Hemorrhage

Think about that. What kind of "medicine" causes life-threatening liver failure, heart attacks, white blood cell loss?!!? More so, more than twice as many people suffered a life-threatening illness from the "medicine," than the disease. TWICE AS MANY!

So, Reisler et al. stand for a simple, irrefutable proposition: HAART causes serious disease. Period. So, whenever some AIDS cheerleader yaps about the wondrous effects of these drugs like a used-car salesman, but omits a discussion of the risks identified in this peer-reviewed paper, he is a dishonest weasel, and you need to call him on it. Medicine ain't supposed to be this dangerous to your health.

This contradicts an earlier post on this blog about the same study where "AIDS Inc." (National Institutes of Health, with people like Dr.Anthony Fauci, who are running it) says this study proves that you are twice likely to die if you quit your anti-HIV meds (HAART). Even though that earlier post says they didn't complete the study "For ethical reasons".probably cause they knew they wouldn't get the results they wanted. I'm more incline to believe this author conclusion than the one printed by AIDS Inc in the San Francisco Chronicle.
