Barak comes to Oakland,California today. I don't want to criticize the man, being part of the problem I accuse other African-Americans of doing. Here's an African-American that is trying to do something. Its odd that Obama would come here, is he attracted by recent headlines here in Oakland, has he been reading my blog?
I probably wont be able to see Obama today, and I'm not sure how to support his candidacy. I think an African-American president would be great for African-Americans in the U.S, but even with all that I fear he won't be able to do much.
I'm really critical of African-Americans in this town, if you read any of my blog, maybe you'll understand that I have been in a battle with some dubious characters in this town, and the population here, who have ridiculed, harassed me, harassed my Mother (who had nothing to do with this), harassed me on my job, basically in defense of a property management/company and there tenants who can't seem to get rid
of a TROLL they don't like. So they simply blame the problem on me. I was basically a former tenant at that place, a couple of years ago, I didn't have anything to do with there problem tenant. Maybe it is I'm the problem these people are trying to get rid of.
(P.S these days I worry alot about my mom who's decided to take an early retirement from her civil Service job. She live in a two-story four bedroom house, with my grandmother, and Niece. This winter she had difficult staying warm there, and is wasteful with energy, living in that big house, in spite of that, last December me and my sisters help her pay a 500.00 energy bill.)
I tried to point out in desperation, that maybe alot of African-Americans in this city ought to get up off there Asses and get to work, quit there drinking and whoring and at least get back to the work of taking care of their (African-American) kids...instead of making me, my relatives and themselves a sacrifice to people who'd exploit them, that includes Trolls, Pedophile Priest ,Slum lords and drug dealers.
There still trying to get rid of that guy (I heard) at the Oaks, I claimed he was a Troll, a sort of predator. So Obama comes here for support or to support the people here with a message of hope? Best of luck to him. There are many capable and good politicians and people around here, Congressman Barbra Lee, Mayor Ron Dellums, Senator Barbra Boxer and others.. but I feel alot of the African-American representatives in this city are troubled. Do us African_Americans support these representatives, probably not enough to justify their support of the average among us. So then these leaders will have to get some support from the well-to-do and influential among us, White folks...
What do White folks want? Alot of them enabled this War in Iraq (I guess they want oil), and the next President might have to continue along party lines. They may want to take military action in Iran. This might entail bombing Iran or an invasion, since there's not enough military troops in the U.S for an Invasion, the government might have to reinstate a DRAFT. The President who does that might invite retaliation in the form of increased international Terrorism possibly sponsored by Iran or Muslims everywhere. If Obama is President they might target areas in Africa and African Americans everywhere. increased prices for oil would result in higher prices here for everything in the U.S..so we may be headed for tough economic times.
Again next President of this here U.S might be faced with;
1 More military action in the Middle East, for oil and defense of Israel.
hence an increase in international and even local terrorism.
2.The unpopularity of re-instating a military draft.
3.Increasing prices for oil and energy internationally, and hence increasing prices for goods and energy here.
4.Draconic cuts in Social services here.
Who'd want a job like that for The president of the U.S?
We can blame George W.Bush for the problems facing U.S today in the U.S, but do you really think he came into American political Office, knowing that he's going to send alot of young men/women home without arms and legs; that he's going to wreck the Civil Rights Americans had under the Constitution of the United States, that he's going to cause the deaths of innocent 100 thousands of poor folks in another country and god knows what else.
My guess is that if Bush knew this , he may not have run for political office. Anybody who ran for presidency under those terms would need his Head examined.
So what does Obama think he's going to do as President?
Obama may be no more capable than George Bush, I tend to like the Clintons. In part its the crazy critical part of me that says, White people created this conflict over in Iraq and in the Middle East, if anybody deserves the blame for it,blame them not us.
The other part says that Hillary Clinton and would be a decent choice for some kind of executive office, cause with her own limited experience, she'd be bringing with her , Ex- two term President/husband Bill Clinton, who might be able to donate some of his own expertise, but I really wouldn't wish the next four to eight years difficult looking years on someone even a Hillary Clinton, a Woman.
