Just wanted to end with a hopeful message. Maybe You've seen this Movie, the newest sequel for 2001 Space odyssey, called "2010: The year we make Contact". Its a Movie based on an Arthur C. Clarke Novel.
Its sort of about man's continuing exploration of space, there we find the Monolith, the one in the 2001 movie, only this time during a manned trip to Jupiter, we find a Monoliths orbiting and on the Moons of Jupiter. In this movie the characters of Hal: The computer, and Dave the astronaut are reunited. The Monolith may be a object of Alien origin, perhaps great extraterrestrial forefathers of mankind. the Monolith are also an object of alien intelligence able to manipulate things on a planetary scale.
2010:The Year we make Contact, is an old movie. But with an unique, uplifting message. Not anything special,but it talks about a kind of Extraterrestrial intervention on Earth ,in a Big Way,at a time when Earth's citizens are at War, when things look there bleakest for mankind.

Its just the type of thing that might transform Politics and life here on Earth in a positive way, if the citizens here can get together, and work together toward a common benevolent goal, realizing that were just tenets here on the planet.
An extra-ordinary event,like a "Close Encounter", A star nearby going "Nova", or like in 2010, something wonderful happens....The planet Jupiter turns into a Sun , called "Lucifer", or some other kind of outside phenomena is just the type of thing to trigger it.
like Roy Schedir says in the Movie, " We have been given a new lease and a warning, by the landlord....".
