Die Another Day

"Die another day" was one of the songs I actually liked by Artist "Madonna". I'm not a really big fan of her music to be honest. I decided to change the name of this blog into something similar to one of the titles of a song she wrote , I presume. From the James Bond movie "Die another Day". Not the greatest Bond movie, But I liked the opening of the movie, Where Bond, makes this terrific attempt to escape, only to be captured and tortured. The title song opens ups with Madonna singing the title song , "Die another Day", While James Bond is being tortured with scorpions. There's also that great fight scene in "Die another Day".

Madonna is my not favorite Artist, I like some of her early stuff, and I liked the lyrics a bit for this song, Die another day;

Sounds like me and what I've been going through for the last couple of years.
I guess since Madonna wrote that, one would think she's not that out of touch with reality. Seems like this days, if your not doing some of the things in this Song then maybe your ..DEAD already. Well thank goodness Madonna isn't dead. Whether you like Madonna or not, she is kind of an American Icon, maybe representing the best that this Country's got to offer.

Apparently Madonna's got her own blog going. Its called Madonna's Blog, though there no guarantee its actually Madonnna who's talking, but the site has pictures, and the ring of authenticity , where I believe it actually is the "Madonna" talking.

"Wow" how many big time stars have open Blogs? There are a few. My First impressions of Madonna, is that she is very intelligent , a sweet woman but maybe little twisted. She allows comments on her blog, presuming it's actually Madonna. Some of the comments made by fans are brutal and sometimes funny. I'd spare her some of the indignity of that, lest she's open enough, or trying to be open enough to even have a blog and for that she ought to be applauded! But its all about her! Was the world was created so we could worship Madonna Veronica Ciccone. Get real babe! This is the real world and some of us are really hurting in it,And not all your audience is between the ages of 10 and 16 years old.

I wasn't kidding when I suggested that Madonna do a Celebrity T.V reality show, much the same way that Larry David does his show "Curb your enthusiam". I think it would be a hit and I would watch.

In my next post I could talk about favorite James Bond movies and the artist that does the title songs for them. For instance I think the best vocalist for a Bond movie was "Lulu" singing "Man with the Golden Gun" that is one of my favorites. Lulu is hot. That gal could make my dick hard, just with her singing. Second, and close first would be Shirley Bassey. A great throat and memorable songs like "Goldfinger", "Diamonds are Forever" and Moonraker". Tina Turner would rate a distant third, close with Sheryl Crow. but Tina Turner sings "Goldeneye" well (but she's no Shirley Bassey), and there's the great lyrics by U2's ,"Bono" and "The Edge" that go like;

Sheryl Crow a distant 4th. She doesn't have the same vocal quality say as a Shirley Bassey, but she trys really hard in that song "Tomorrow never Dies"

Madonna's "Die another Day" rates somewhere between third and fourth place. It doesn't have the vocal qualities of a "Lulu" but the lyrics rate up there with "U2's, "Bono" and "The Edge" in my book. Plus the opener of the movie "Die another day" is cool, though "Golden eye" is the coooolest.There are many good Bond openers and scenes.
