Duesberg on HIV/AIDS;

Well I'm sort of a fan of Peter Duesberg, a Professor of Molecular Cell biology at U.C Berkeley, California. He is well known, for being the only contrary opinion on HIV/AIDS. In other words he doesn't think HIV causes AIDS,that AIDS is not an infectious disease, or at least is not the sole cause of it. Because of his views on HIV/AIDS , he's been ostracized,even black-listed from the scientific, Community concerning HIV/AIDS theory.

Duesberg made very damming criticisms about HIV/AIDS theory, which nobody really hears about, many think his critisms hold water.

Just try mentioning Duesberg or questioning HIV/AIDS theory in Popular media in America...YOU won't get the bandwidth (except on the Internet). So I have a couple of Websites about him, and the AIDS/HIV issue on the contrary side.

Duesberg on Cancer.

He's back into prominence concerning his views on Cancer. Duesberg is partly responsible for the idea that Viruses can cause Cancer, hence this is partly behind the idea about HIV/AIDS.

HIV is said a virus that causes Cancer (Destruction of helper T- white blood cells). Duesberg now argues that malignacies are caused by an imbalance of Chromosomes in the cell, (DUH), not so much by "Oncogenes" (Cancer causing genes)?
Duesberg is getting alot of attention because of his research in this field, and it also cause many prominant researchers in HIV/AIDS to rethink there theories about how HIV causes a cancer.

Have you ever seen that movie, "Altered States". It was written by a guy named Paddy Chaveysky, the movie directed by Ken Russell. Its about a scientist who explores altered states of consciousness in an isolation tanks with the use of mind altering drugs.

This movie (Altered States), is really sort of about a real life scientist, "John Lilly" who developed the Isolation tank among other things. John lilly was a Doctors, doctor, specializing I guess in neuro-physiology...he also made some inventions there.

Lilly is also well known for his use of Experimenting with mind altering drugs ( LSD, Ketamine, PCP among others) in the isolation tank and writing about it,because of this he has a repudation of being a kook and a space case, but his exploration in the isolation tank, led him to Whale and Dolphin research (because he wanted to understand other creatures who live in an salt water environment simular to an Isolation tank environment).

Lilly was a noted reasearcher in this field for some time. One of his conclusions was that, Some species of Whales and dolphins have a thinking brain equal to or surrpassing human beings and that "They deserve the highest regard by humans". The largest brain on the planet existing in a Sperm whale ( eight times larger than ours).

"Well if Dolphins and whales are so smart and been on the planet a million years longer than humans beings have ,then why don't they have nuclear weapons? Answer; Cause they don't have hands to build tools?

We human beings might be unique in all the universe in this ability of ours ..to make tools with out hands, maybe that is why we cannot find life (which should be abundant) on other worlds, other advance creatures can't make tools like we can. Extra-terrestrial intelligence might exist here.

Lilly passed away the earlier part of the of the new century in September.
